7ths, slash chords, key changes, voice leading — the more musical your play, the higher your score. Hard songs get a difficulty multiplier. Left hand keeps the beat, right hand sings the melody.

Listeners react to your playing with live comments. Nail a 7th and they’ll tell you it works. They’re really listening.

FAQ
Can I play without an instrument?
Yes. On iPhone / iPad you tap (beats) and swipe (chords); on Mac you can play with the keyboard. Connect a MIDI keyboard and your real playing becomes the score.
What songs can I play?
Songs from your Music (iTunes) library, or audio files you own (m4a / mp3 / wav, etc.). DRM-protected streaming-only tracks can’t be analyzed.
Is my music sent anywhere?
No. Analysis, scoring, and comments all happen on your device. No network calls, no data collection.
What are the requirements?
macOS 14 or later / iOS & iPadOS 17 or later.
What if I stay on the free version?
The first 7 days unlock everything. After that, you can keep playing your analyzed songs (up to 5) in 1-minute mode. 3-minute / full-length modes and unlimited analysis come with the one-time KeyJaan Pro purchase.
